3. OWL G2 Scale Intelligent Functions

   3.1 Intelligent Tare

           Intelligently determines whether it is fluid or a solid, and tare only after identifying the solid item. If solids are placed on the weighing pan in sequence, then auto-tare in sequence (e.g., put the pad first and then the cup), and the auto-timing will not be triggered.

   3.2 Intelligent Timing

           Intelligently recognizes that the liquid is not solid and has gained weight, then automatically starts the timing.

   3.3 Auto-Timing Lock

           Only after manual unlocking can the pending state of auto-timing be entered; it is convenient to perform other hand operations before automatic timing, such as checking the weight of beans and powders and manual tare.

   3.4 Intelligent Stop Measuring 1

           Intelligently recognizes that the liquid does not gain weight, then automatically stops timing and weighing. It is suitable for semi-automatic espresso machines that are continuously drip liquid.

   3.5 Intelligent Stop Measuring 2

           Intelligent recognition of sudden weight loss, automatically stops timing and weighing. It is suitable for pulsing drip liquid coffee machines, such as hand-pressed espresso-makers and pour-over coffee brewing.

   3.6 Intelligent Frozen Data

           Intelligently locked the time and weight data of espresso when the extraction is stopped and displayed to facilitate people to record data.

   3.7 Auto Sleep

          If the coffee scale is left idle for 3 minutes while turned on, it'll automatically go into sleep mode. Press and hold the Weight Pan for one second to wake it up.

 

4. OWL G2 Scale Operate Mode

   4.1 Mode-Hand

   4.11  Long press the left key to switch to mode H, and no mode icon.

 

   4.12  "H" will change to the initial timing state "0:00" after 1s.

 

   4.13  Hand operate the left and right key for timing and taring.

 

   4.2 Mode-Espresso1

    4.21  Long press the left key to switch to mode E1, and have mode icon □.

 

    4.22  Put the cup on the scale and auto-tare, then "E1" will change to an auto-timing pending state ("-:--").

 

 

     4.23  Sense fluid weight gain then auto-timing.

 

      4.24  Sense fluid weight gain no increases, smart stop measuring to

               frozen and display the data;

               Long press the right key to enter the initial state of E1 mode.

 

   4.3 Mode-Espresso2

    4.31  Long press the left key to switch to mode E2, and have mode icon ▽.

             Put the pad, cup, etc., on the scale, single-tap right-key to manually

             tare in sequence.

 

    4.32  Single-tap left-key, "E2" will change to auto-timing pending state ("-:--").

 

     4.33  Sense fluid weight gain then auto-timing.

 

 

     4.34  Take away the cup on the scale, smart stop measuring to frozen and                      display the data;

              Long press the right key to enter the initial state of E2 mode.
